A little knitting

is being done here, though the long silence is a pretty good reflection of the amount.

medium_bla_sommer.jpgCrawling through the back of my drawers I found this summer-thing. It was a very quick knit, despite redoing some parts no less than three times, on 6-7 mm needles (can't remember the size) and I'm fairly pleased with the result. Just a shame the pattern doesn't suit me, so for now live it'll live in a drawer until either I change shape or I give it away. Pattern from Birgitte Breunings book Strik på den fede måde

Another thing has been done, just today. Here I'm a lot less happy with the finish (MAJOR note to self, don't knit baby-things on size 2.5 mm needles in cotton simply because you have huge amounts of the stuff under your bed!!), but from a good distance I think its come out quite nice - including my free-hand-embroidery flowers :-). the pattern is from Erika Knights book Simple knits for cherished babies.
