I have too many WIPs:

Last week I had the great privilege of being let into the storage room of Nannas shop and this is what I came out with

This beautifully coloured yarn is intended for a vest for a brand new young man to wear the coming winter (its 100 % merino). That is, when his parents care to hand wash the item! - forgot all about practicalities and baby-clothes when I saw a sweater Nanna had knitted in the yarn for her own son. I might do a hat or some socks also, depending on how much is left after completing the edges. A progress shot:

An item which has been active for a relatively long is this brown thing. Pattern from HP-gruppen (can't find link on their homepage) using Mandarin petit from Sandness. I really like it and look forward to wearing it, but it seems to take forever. This not only because it turned out to need 4 sleeves, but socks and baby-things with deadlines keep getting in the way!

The socks in my last post were originally intended as a present but turned out too small for the recipient, though luckily just my size :-) I have therefore started a new pair, this time from the other of my recently purchased sock books:'Fancy silk socks' (yarn from Hjertegarn)

I had to remove a considerable amount of dust from this one, a hat I knit some late evening in winter. I wasn't happy with the look of the decreases, and it got abandoned. This is not really an item I'm longing to wear right now, but it would just be really nice to finish it and get it out of my way!  

The last knitted knitting WIP is this cardigan to be. I thoroughly like the look and feel of the knitted parts, but think I got a bit intimidated by the approaching collar and other finishing bits, which lead me to abandon this also! Would be nice if it didn't have spend yet another winter inside a box!

The things is though, I have recently become someone who can crochet, and in the very near future I shall share also my CROCHET WIP (only 1 item though!), along with my only two finished crochet items (trust me: nothing fancy!)  

But for now, off to try and finish something!!
